Our manuscript evaluation service will help you to answer this question, and it's free. This is a great way to get a non-biased second opinion of your manuscript, before deciding whether you're ready to self-publish.
We offer two types of evaluation to make sure you get the type of feedback you're looking for:
One of our experienced editors will read your entire manuscript from start to finish and provide a report offering a non-biased opinion of your work, including advice on possible improvements, suitability for audiences and how much, if any, editing is required.
This is a more detailed editorial evaluation focussing on a smaller section of the text. A close reading assesses the quality of your writing rather than the manuscript as a whole. This can be useful if you want specific advice on improving your writing.
Our editors are proud members of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders, as well as avid readers at home and at work. Having carried out hundreds of evaluations, they really do know what makes a great book and they are passionate about helping you to make your book the best it can be.
